ataraxi has been my personal portfolio website since november 13th 2023, but the design you see today has not always been there. the original design is preserved on this blog page for me to look back on in the future.

as a first attempt at web design (outside of basic html in high school), it did its job, but had become outdated and no longer matched my current standard of work. project pages only covered a few items like my portfolio pdf files, whereas most designs just got a range of images with no context in the gallery.

moving forwards i want my site to be clearer, explain each project and show more intention, rather than just dropping a load of different images into a gallery. each project will have its content within its individual project page, rather than being fragmented all across the website, with a video buried in one page and floor plans within the portfolio pdf in another.
